The Transdiagnostic Addiction Lab is currently recruiting participants for several studies. Learn more about each of the current studies below.
We are currently recruiting young adults between the ages of 18 and 25 who vape nicotine and/or cannabis to fill out a series of questionnaires assessing their vaping habits, personal motivations and attitudes towards vaping versus smoking, personality traits, as well as co-existing mental health disorders. Participation should take around 45 minutes. As compensation for participating, participants will be entered in a draw to win a $50 CAD gift card.
Our lab is recruiting young adults over the age of 18 who play video games to fill out a series of questionnaires related to your video gaming habits and other mental health factors such as depression, anxiety, gambling, personality, and substance use. Participation should take around 45 minutes. As compensation for participating, participants will be entered in a draw to win a $50 CAD gift card.
We are seeking people over the age of 16 who have spent money to enter into an online daily fantasy sports contest with cash prizes (e.g. DraftKings, FanDuel) in the past year. We are interested in how people who participate in sports-related gambling have reacted to the COVID-19 pandemic, and how their gambling habits may have changed. Participation involves completing a 1-hour online survey related to your gambling habits, personality, and mental health. All participants who complete the survey will be compensated with a $10 gift card.
